In 2006, Droylsden Cricket Club achieved Clubmark accreditation. This is an award given in recognition of the the
hard work carried out in the Club's junior section. DCC has a safe, child friendly junior section and takes the welfare of
all junior members very seriously. All coaches are fully insured, have basic first aid training and have all attended a Safeguarding
children course.
The Club has junior teams at Under 10, 13, 15 and 17 level. The Under 10s are members of the Tameside & District
Junior League and play hard ball cricket, and the Under 13s, 15s and 17s are members of the Saddleworth & District Junior
League.
Historically, all the junior sides have been successful, with the clubs greatest achievemrnt coming in 2005, when the
Under 13s completed the league and cup double, the Uder 15s won the league and Leicester Shield and the Under 17s won the
league.
