Unfortunately, due to inclimate weather, this match was postponed without play.

 

 

Droylsden batted first against the side that had defeated them in the cup a couple of weeks previous. Dale Evans continued his fine running of form with the bat by scoring a 3rd consecutive 50 at this level. Andrew Jackson provided support in a partnership of 40 to boost the Droylsden total to 102 for 5 from 20 overs.

 

Shaw's reply never really got going as they struggled to come to terms with some tight bowling and the pace of the wicket. All the bowlers took wickets as Shaw were restricted to 99 for 6 from 20 overs, giving Droylsden the win by 3 runs. Dale Evans was the pick of the bowlers with 2 for 20.

 

 

Unfortunately, due to Greenfield's First X1 being involved in a cup match, the U17s fixture was postponed without a ball being bowled.
