This morning's U13 match against Glodwick has been cancelled due to rain
Tuesday 15th April 2008
Junior training has been cancelled for this week. Although the weather may be
fine on Thursday, the outfield is very wet because of the large amount of rain in the last few weeks, making it unsafe. Junior training will now start on Thursday 24th April 2008. If you have any queries please speak to Rob.

The funds for Lee Cullen's walk have topped the £450 mark. If you still haven't donated, please do, you
have just over a month to do so.

Aaqib Uppal, James Barnett, Danny Taylor, Jamie Walker and Alex Cicchirillo are currently attending an introductory
course for coaching cricket. It is hoped that once the course is completed, the lads will assist with the under 9s & 10s
on a Thursday evening. Good luck to the lads on completing their course.

The pub 6 aside was a success once again. DCC would like to thank Iain Withers for his efforts in making
sure the event ran smoothly. There is a new name on the trophy this year as two time champions the Royal Oak Gorton were demolished
by the eventual winners Droylsden Cricket Club social members. The Bush Droylsden again supported the event with some gutsy
performances and heavy drinking and the DCC parents tried hard but failed at the last hurdle. WELL DONE THE DROYLSDEN 6. See

The Club presentation night will take place on Saturday 22nd September at
7.30pm. Prizes will be given to u13s, u15s, u17s and both senior teams. All families and non members are welcome, disco follows
the presentation.
